For 10 months, not even bother tomatoes - the pale, granular, tomato wannabe salad seem to come in every restaurant. But in late summer, why resist the call of tomatoes, fresh from the farm or garden? This is my favorite for the classic BLT sandwich without bread smells like that. You should also consider the lawyer for over BLta.
Ingredients:
- ½ cup chopped raw tomatoes
- 3 slices bacon, cooked until crisp and crumbled
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise (regular)
- Black pepper to taste
- 3-4 large green lettuce leaves
Preparation:
Mix chopped tomatoes with crumbled bacon, mayonnaise, and a generous amount of pepper. Pour the mixture into the center of the sheets, leaving either a burrito or taco form.
Nutritional information: For the recipe to 5 grams of carbohydrates and 2 grams efficient carbon fiber, 7 grams of protein and 362 calories. Note that this is not a great source of protein; most of the calories (202) come from fat mayonnaise.
