6 ideas for low carb quick breakfast

Updated 16 June 2014.

With our busy lives, have fast food is available important to start the day right. We no longer write, bagels and donuts, we need to find ways to find accelerate the process of obtaining a low-carb healthy breakfast in a small period of time. Here are some ideas and tips for a quick bit low in carbohydrates.

It remains

Only reheat leftovers from last night's dinner is one of the easiest ways to prepare a nutritious breakfast. One advantage is that it is likely a major part of the protein contained. Protein is important for our bodies to prepare a good start, but it is not always easy with great speed. I'm trying to play a game or two with each meal, so I have enough for breakfast and / or lunch the next day. I also make extra vegetables when I cook. They can be small or tortilla scramble.

2 the ingredients Ready to Go

Planning a protein shake? Fairs throughout the evening before, so you have to throw only in the blender. With hot cereal, instant cereal and flax meal? Put flax meal, salt and cinnamon in a bowl on the counter, just add the peanut butter and hot water. You have cooked bacon or sausage and zap in the microwave.

3 Make Ahead

Many breakfast items in a batch, then chilled or frozen. For example:
  • Eggs - Scramble a large (with vegetables, if desired), and divided into sections. They can be stored for 2-3 days in the refrigerator, and frozen for longer. Consistency will suffer a little, but good taste.

Something that works even better is to make a frittata. Can use tortillas, up leftover vegetables or meat that you left on the hand and left pieces can be refrigerated or frozen.

A similar option is "mini-omelets" made in a muffin pan instead of a big one. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Use a non-stick muffin pan and butter it! You can even cook eggs in muffin with butter at every break an egg into each cup. Add cheese, if desired. Bake as for mini tortillas.

  • Flax bread - is good toast, or try this: Melt cheese on top, sprinkle with bacon, then with two fried eggs (see Quick method for eggs below) to cover.

  • Muffins - Muffins make low-carb and do in the morning, perhaps with a little protein cottage cheese (cottage cheese, sprinkle cinnamon - mmm).

  • Pancakes - Make a big batch of pancakes and keep them in the fridge or freezer. Serve with syrup or sugar syrup bays house. Or peanut butter and / or jam without sugar and eat a sandwich or toast in the race.

4 Quick Cooking

There is both a burden if you can cook super fast.

Learn flip fried eggs in a frying pan: One of my favorite (and funny) tips to save time is to make fried eggs in a small nonstick pan is rotating in the air, without utensils (still need to add oil or butter, to be working). It takes surprisingly little to do practice. I practiced over the sink at first, and I think I only lost once the pan. If I know I'll be pressed for time, I leave the kitchen on fire with a little butter or coconut oil ball. I go to the kitchen, turn the pan, eggs, and two minutes later, breakfast is ready. I plop above heated to some plant.

Microwave Eggs: If you make scrambled eggs in the microwave, you can do other things at the same time. Our About.com Guide to Busy kitchen has a recipe.

5 wraps, burritos and cumulative

Walk out the door? Blades eggs, chicken, sausages, etc, in a low carb tortilla and vegetables and spices to your taste.
